1. How to get on Facebook and Set-up Video Messaging

Instructions for Joining Facebook Group:

1. Go to www.facebook.com
2. Login or complete new user information under 'Sign up for Facebook' to create a new account
3. In the search bar, type: 'IPT287'
4. Click 'Request to Join'

Setting Up Video Messaging

1. Add Instructors 'Jana Chapman' and 'Charles Graham' as friends
2. From your facebook profile, go to your Inbox by clicking on the Inbox tab.
3. Click on 'Compose Message' in the top right corner
4. Add Jana Chapman and Charles Graham in the 'To' area
5. In the subject area, type '(your name)Test'
6. Next to attach, click 'Record Video'
7. Click 'Close'
8. Click 'Allow' (this is in the small conversation box that comes up just after you install the video cam on your laptop)
9. Click the red box to Record. Tell us your name, where you're from, and why you are taking this class.
10. Click on the black and white box to stop
11. Click 'Attach'
12. At the bottom of your message, click 'Send'
